You may be asking yourself what is an Ezine Articles Authors Bio Box.

The authors Bio box is a place where you put some brief information about yourself and where you post links to other web sites you are promoting.

Many people just starting out don't realize the importance of the bio box. It's more important than the article because when people like what you have to say, or don't like it for that matter, this is where they go to see who you are.

When people care to read more about you they'll click on your website links and go to whatever page it is you are promoting for commissions.

Let's go through a typical Ezine Articles Authors Bio Box set up procedure. I will assume you are a new user and walk you through the sign up process.

Go to the main page of Ezine Articles. Click on "Join Now" in your upper right hand corner of the page. Fill out the information form and insert the code at the bottom of the page.

After you click submit you'll instantly be transfered to your individual web page where you can then pen your article and store your material.

Once on this page, scroll over the "Profile Manager" tab in the center of the page. This will cause a drop down box to appear.

From the drop down menu, click on "Edit Author Bio", and click on your name. Once the page opens, scroll down to the Authors Bio Box.

In this box we are going to tell people who you are. This is just a brief bio of who you really are. People want to know they are reading a real persons material.

You're just beginning, let people know that! Try something like this:

"Johnny Doe is an aspiring Internet Author who lives in the USA with his wife, three kids and pets. He loves water sports, hiking and free lance writing. If you like John's article and want to read more of his work, contact him here at Johndoe@e-mailaddress"

Later on as you write more Ezine articles, you will come back to this page to edit it many times, as you will be changing and adding to it when you start to specialize in a product. Atleast for now it "Proclaims What You Do!"

On this page you will also see links for twitter, Facebook, MySpace, and friend feed. Enter your web URLs, if you have any, and whenever you post a new article it will automatically post on the sites mentioned.
